HANDMADE CERAMIC COFFEE MUG

Inspiration for this design are the lines of the landscape, the mountains and rolling hills - where the mountains meet the sea on the Coffs Coast.

This pattern has now been abstracted into the unique designs that emerge from the studio - one by one.

The exterior of this unglazed mug has been polished to a silky smooth finish creating a lush, rich feel in the hand. Each one is hand-crafted then fired with a satin matte white glaze inside. The lines have been inscribed by sgraffito technique and carefully inlaid with a metallic glaze with hints of gold and bronze in the sunlight.
